Maison Septième is a New York portrait house. We create original portraits of the people and animals you love, painted by hand and made to be kept for generations.
Our name
Maison Septième means "the Seventh House." It is a nod to Seventh Avenue, the street that runs through New York's fashion district, past Carnegie Hall and through Chelsea's galleries, where fashion, music and art meet.
Our artists
Every portrait is created by a trained portrait artist, never by AI. Our oil and paper portraits are painted by partner studios in Vietnam and China, working in long traditions of realist painting. Our Studio Collection is painted digitally by portrait artists, stroke by stroke. With every portrait, you learn the name of the artist who made it.
Finished in New York
Each piece comes home to New York, where it is inspected, stretched, framed by hand and packed in gallery-grade packaging, or delivered and hung by us in your home.
